Channel Impact is seeking a Content Production Lead to join our events team. In this role you will be developing and maintaining a consistent content strategy for the client’s partner focused flagship event, ensuring messaging, brand and creative compliance across all sessions. The role oversees all phases of production—from pre-program development to onsite execution and post-event analysis—while managing delivery within budget scope.

The ideal candidate has experience in technology event planning, production and content management experience, possessing strong project management, stakeholder management, communication, and collaborative skills to thrive in a dynamic environment.

This is a full-time, salaried position with benefits for a remote worker within the United States.

What you will be doing:

I. Strategic Content Planning & Development:

  • Lead the development of the program agenda framework (flow, session types, timing) for client’s partner focused flagship event
  • Support the development of the overall content strategy in partnership with program and leadership
  • Ensure consistent application of event messaging framework across all content touchpoints.
  • Own the master content production timeline, ensuring cross-functional alignment and adherence.
  • Co-manage key relationships with content production business partners
  • Collaborate with tech and platform teams to manage content constraints and define session filter values for digital platforms.
  • Drive the integration of critical messaging priorities and key focus areas to ensure strategic alignment with our client’s Executive Leadership.
  • Consult and provide content production strategic guidance and production best practices to program leads across other Sales & Partner events throughout the year.
  • Consult and provide strategic messaging and logistics insight to other Sales & Partner events to ensure consistency across the portfolio throughout the year.
  • Support on site content production logistics for other sales events as needed and as bandwidth allows.

II. Session Production & Execution Management:

  • Oversee the design and execution of breakout room layouts, staging, and scenic elements
  • Manage the collection and input of all session data (titles, descriptions, speakers, bios, room details) into the schedule builder.
  • Direct the development and implementation of all breakout room in-session experiences (e.g., walk-in/walk-out loops, polling, interactive elements).
  • Develop and manage the rehearsal scheduling for breakout sessions in-room and in the onsite speaker ready room.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned Session Program Managers (SPMs) and Communication Managers (ExComms), providing expert guidance on content development, brand compliance, and deliverables.
  • Manage post-production editorial for all assigned sessions and ensure on-time delivery of recorded assets to client and digital platforms.
  • Act as a liaison between content stakeholders, the Content Production team, and creative partners to coordinate production requirements (demos, videos, polling, Q&A).
  • Oversee speaker requirements and processes in accordance with attendance criteria and guidelines.
  • Monitor the Session Builder Tool (SBT) for on-time completion and quality assurance of session deliverables.
  • Facilitate necessary touchpoints, briefings, storyboard reviews, and final show-flow/pre-production reviews with Executive Sponsors and content teams.
  • Actively participate in all Content Production (CP)-sponsored and contributory meetings.
  • Provide support for Global Keynote initiatives as required.

III. Onsite Event & Digital Program Support:

  • Provide comprehensive support to content stakeholders (SPMs, ExComms, speakers) in the Speaker Ready Room, ensuring readiness and successful session execution.
  • Monitor onsite session execution and delivery, collecting feedback for post-event debriefs.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for session owners regarding any program-related issues or questions during the event.
  • Onsite support at other Sales & Partner events throughout the year, as required.

IV. Financial Management & Post-Event Analysis:

  • Manage the budget for breakout sessions, reporting into the Global Program Lead’s master Content Production Budget.
  • Schedule and facilitate post-event debrief sessions, documenting findings and recommendations for future programs.
  • Coordinate the collection and submission of final cross-charge approvals and cost center details for reconciliation.
  • Distribute final session and end-of-conference reports to relevant stakeholders.

What you bring:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in large-scale, B2B technology event planning and production*, with a proven track record in content strategy, development, and delivery (Required)
  • Exceptional project management skills, with a proven ability to manage complex, multi-track content production schedules and budgets from conception through post-event analysis.
  • Strong customer service and / or stakeholder management skills

  • Leverages AI tools to enhance performance and drive innovation in the workstream
  • Proficient in Sharepoint, Microsoft Excel, Smartsheets, PowerPoint applications with the ability to quickly learn and implement new processes and/or internal (custom) tools
  • Additional tool proficiency preferred but not required AI tools, Rainfocus, Qlik, others.
  • Travel required approximately 5-10%
