Job Summary

Own and coordinate ESPN Los Angeles promotional events, leading logistics, on-site activations and post-event follow-up across the market.

  • Lead event execution and partner fulfillment across campaigns
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Programming and Digital teams to support campaign execution

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Execute promotional street team events, remote broadcasts and partnership activations throughout the market.
  • Load, unload and transport promotional equipment and materials.
  • Set up and tear down promotional displays, tents, tables, signage, audio equipment and other event materials.
  • Maintain promotional equipment, event supplies and station vehicles in safe working order.
  • Represent ESPN Los Angeles, Good Karma Sports and our partners in a professional, friendly and enthusiastic manner.
  • Engage and interact with fans, partners and teammates during events.
  • Distribute promotional materials, prizes and partner products.
  • Execute on-site contests, games and other promotional activities.
  • Capture photos and videos for use in event recaps produced by the Marketing Department.
  • Support marketing operations through administrative projects, campaign preparation, partner recap materials, airchecks and post-campaign reporting as needed.

  • Availability to work weekdays, evenings, weekends, holidays and varying schedules based on event and business needs.
  • Marketing, promotions, partnership activations or broadcast event experience or interest.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Friendly and outgoing personality.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or other basic marketing tools is a plus.
  • Ability to follow directions and adapt in fast-paced event environments.
  • Ability to lift and carry event equipment and materials weighing up to 50 pounds and perform the physical tasks associated with event setup and tear-down.
