Drive Epson Tour communications by crafting engaging stories and media-ready materials, aligning brand voice, and coordinating cross-team content across social, press, and event moments to elevate tournament coverage.

  • Write and edit press releases, player bios, tournament recaps, and feature stories for distribution to media and publication on Epson Tour channels
  • Develop compelling round recaps, post-round interview write-ups, and long-form narratives that highlight players and tournament moments
  • Craft captions, copy, and written posts for Epson Tour social media platforms (Instagram, X/Twitter, Facebook)
  • Ensure all written content adheres to brand voice and messaging guidelines
  • Support media relations efforts including distributing press materials and responding to media inquiries
  • Work with the content team to develop and maintain consistent social media brand messaging
  • Collaborate with Epson and Epson Tour marketing teams to align communications strategies
  • Coordinate with tournament staff on event-specific communications needs and messaging
  • Manage editorial calendar and ensure timely delivery of communications content across platforms
  • Maintain organized archives of written content, press materials, and player communications assets
  • A professional image, willingness to travel, eagerness to work as a team and be self-motivated
  • Background in social media platforms including, but not limited to, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook
  • 1-2 years of full-time experience in communications, marketing, sports media, or a related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English or related field
  • A strong writer who takes pride in clear, engaging, and error-free copy across different formats and audiences
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite software applications
  • Excellent project and time management with a sense of urgency for deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively within and across diverse groups
  • Stay current on social media best practices and digital communications trends to inform strategy
  • Coordinate with the content team to ensure all produced content meets quality and brand standards before publication
  • Other special projects or duties as assigned

Previous work in golf tournaments or sports event communications/management preferred
