Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Design and distribute community and event flyers, including partnership events
  • Support social media content creation, posting schedules, and account management
  • Create graphics for new team member announcements, staff anniversaries, and organizational updates
  • Assist with creation of monthly “Hot Topics” graphics and community calendars
  • Support development and distribution of newsletters and resident communications
  • Assist with weekly and recurring email marketing campaigns
  • Maintain branding consistency across marketing materials
  • Collaborate with team members to support outreach and engagement initiatives
  • Assist with special projects and communication efforts that support Rainbow’s mission

Requirements

  • Entry level experience or education in marketing, communications, graphic design, social media, or related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic graphic design experience using Canva, Adobe, or similar platforms
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and content management
  • Organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects
  • Passion for community impact and serving others
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow
  • Experience with email marketing platforms
  • Social media or content creation experience
  • Understanding of nonprofit or affordable housing environments is a plus
