Job Summary

Own the local community relations effort by building partnerships, sharing program updates, and turning community feedback into action that drives awareness and trust.

  • Community Engagement: Represent the brand and grow partnerships with schools, nonprofits, and local businesses.
  • Messaging & Outreach: Produce newsletters, social content, and presentations that clearly convey programs and impact.
  • Insights & Collaboration: Capture feedback from interactions and feed it back to the team to improve outreach.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Represent the company professionally while engaging with community members and local organizations
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with community partners, schools, nonprofits, and local businesses
  • Support community outreach and public engagement initiatives that increase brand awareness
  • Communicate information about company programs, services, and community involvement efforts
  • Assist with creating newsletters, presentations, social media content, and other communication materials
  • Gather feedback from community interactions and share insights with the team
  • Promote the company's mission, values, and community initiatives through positive public interactions
  • Provide administrative support and assist with daily Community Relations activities
  • Collaborate with team members to support outreach goals and strengthen community partnerships

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Business, or a related field is a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities
  • Positive attitude, professionalism, and willingness to learn
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and familiarity with social media platforms

Preferred

  • Customer service, volunteer, leadership, or community involvement experience is preferred but not required
