Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Support assigned oscillator product portfolios (primarily military/defense) by partnering with Product Line Managers on go-to-market execution, product positioning, and customer/segment messaging.
  • Own outbound content creation and upkeep: Microchip website updates (product pages, parametric tables), presentations, application-focused content, and collateral that accurately reflects product capabilities and specifications.
  • Plan and execute product launches, including launch plans, internal enablement materials, and external communications (press releases and announcements) in collaboration with Marcom/Digital Marketing.
  • Develop market and competitive research (customers, programs, applications, and industry trends) and convert findings into practical marketing strategies and recommendations.
  • Increase product awareness through professional social/platform engagement and campaign support, ensuring technical accuracy and alignment with defense customer expectations.
  • Maintain working technical knowledge of oscillator design, test, and production documentation (specifications, schematics, test procedures/results, and production travelers) to ensure marketing materials remain technically correct.
  • Complete a structured first-year learning plan embedded with engineering and production teams; ramp as needed due to product depth and complexity.
  • Interface regularly with engineering, production, purchasing, drafting, supply chain, and management to coordinate updates, resolve information gaps, and keep deliverables on schedule.
  • Use and help standardize AI tools and workflows for marketing effectiveness and develop into a local subject-matter resource as part of a company-driven initiative.
  • Demonstrate strong work ethic and a team-first mindset while delivering high-quality work in a collaborative, long-term growth-focused environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Demonstrated ability (or strong interest) to learn oscillator timing technology and become conversant in RF discrete/hybrid oscillator assemblies used in high-reliability applications.
  • Knowledge of, or strong desire to learn, AI tools and best practices; willingness to develop into an internal expert for applying AI to marketing and other value-added areas.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel for technical presentations, documentation, and analysis.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with superb technical writing ability; able to produce clear, accurate, customer-facing technical/marketing materials.
  • Comfort collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, production, purchasing, drafting, supply chain, and management in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple deliverables with attention to detail, quality, and version control (web assets, datasheets, presentations, and release materials).
  • Self-starter who works well with minimal supervision while maintaining a team-oriented, respectful working style.
  • Ability to work on-site in Mount Holly Springs, PA, and engage directly with the teams and production floor where products are built and tested.
  • Willingness to travel less than 5% as needed for business support.
