Operating from 825,000+ square feet of advanced manufacturing and distribution space across our Atlanta campus, Tie Down combines engineering expertise with world-class production capabilities including CNC laser cutting, robotic welding, injection molding, tool & die, and vertically integrated fulfillment operations.

We are seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and growth-minded eCommerce Marketplace Manager to own the day-to-day performance, optimization, and expansion of our online marketplace business, with a primary focus on Amazon Vendor Central.

Position Summary

The eCommerce Marketplace Manager is responsible for managing the performance, health, and growth of Tie Down's online marketplace presence, with a primary focus on Amazon Vendor Central. This role serves as the primary owner of marketplace operations while supporting expansion across additional retail eCommerce channels including Walmart, Lowe's, Home Depot, and other strategic partners.

Working closely with Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Customer Service, and Operations, this individual will oversee product launches, catalog management, content optimization, promotional execution, merchandising, reporting, and marketplace performance.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing data analysis with project management and thrives on continuously improving the online shopping experience while driving measurable business growth.

Key ResponsibilitiesAmazon Vendor Central Management

  • Serve as the primary owner of Tie Down's Amazon Vendor Central account.
  • Manage day-to-day Vendor Central operations, ensuring catalog accuracy, account health, and listing quality.
  • Coordinate new product launches from initial setup through successful publication.
  • Create and maintain parent/child variations, flat files, and product relationships.
  • Troubleshoot listing issues, content suppression, and operational challenges while partnering with Amazon support when necessary.
  • Monitor catalog health and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.

Product Content & Merchandising

  • Manage product onboarding, catalog expansion, and ongoing content optimization.
  • Optimize product listings including:
  • Titles
  • Bullet points
  • Product descriptions
  • Backend attributes
  • Search keywords
  • Product detail pages
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to develop and enhance:
  • A+ Content
  • Lifestyle imagery
  • Product photography
  • Comparison charts
  • Product videos
  • Brand Store content
  • Ensure product content remains accurate, compelling, and aligned with brand standards.

Marketplace Growth & Promotions

  • Develop and execute marketplace growth initiatives that improve traffic, conversion, and sales performance.
  • Manage promotional programs including:
  • Amazon Vine
  • Coupons
  • Best Deals
  • Lightning Deals
  • Promotional pricing
  • Monitor competitive activity and identify opportunities to strengthen marketplace performance.
  • Recommend improvements that enhance customer experience and increase conversion rates.

Advertising, Analytics & Reporting

  • Collaborate on Amazon Advertising strategy and campaign planning.
  • Monitor and report on key marketplace performance metrics including:
  • Sales
  • Traffic
  • Conversion Rate
  • Buy Box performance
  • Content Health
  • Inventory availability
  • Promotional performance
  • Develop recurring business reports and dashboards for leadership.
  • Analyze marketplace trends and recommend data-driven improvements.

QualificationsRequired

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • 3–5 years of experience managing Amazon Vendor Central accounts.
  • Strong understanding of:

  • Experience supporting Lowe's, Home Depot, or other retail eCommerce platforms.
  • Familiarity with PIM, ERP, or Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems.
  • Experience using marketplace analytics and optimization tools such as Helium 10, Jungle Scout, DataDive, or similar platforms.
  • Experience working within manufacturing, industrial, construction, marine, agricultural, or other B2B industries.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience analyzing large datasets.

Success in this position will be measured by the ability to improve marketplace performance through successful product launches, optimized product content, healthy catalogs, strategic promotional execution, actionable business insights, and continuous improvements that increase traffic, conversion, and revenue while collaborating effectively across multiple departments.

Pay: $66,000.00 - $83,000.00 per year
