  • Owns integrated plans, content creation, and publication across social, email, print, and digital channels.
  • Coordinates collaboration with ECE, MarCom, and vendors to optimize audience engagement, metrics, and strategy.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Partner daily with the Education & Community Engagement (ECE) team to prioritize marketing and communications initiatives, ensuring equity, accessibility, and audience engagement are central to all efforts.
  • Collaborate with the Associate Director of Marketing & Communications to develop, execute, and manage integrated marketing and communications plans, including timelines, deliverables, media placements, and promotional assets.
  • Develop compelling content for social media, email, blogs, web, and other storytelling channels that highlight the impact of ECE programs and advances STG's nonprofit mission.
  • Manage marketing projects from concept through completion, including coordinating design requests, routing materials for review and approval, and trafficking creative assets and advertising.
  • Partner with ECE and MarCom staff to write, edit, and coordinate newsletters, annual reports, event materials, brochures, and other print and digital publications.
  • Manage ECE's social media presence across Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and other platforms by:
  • - Maintaining and executing a comprehensive content calendar.
  • - Gathering photos, videos, participant stories, and other content from programs and events.
  • - Creating and publishing engaging content that aligns with STG's brand and communications strategy.
  • - Monitoring channels, responding to messages and comments, and fostering community engagement.

Requirements

  • 2 years of professional experience in marketing, non-profit arts organization, and communications preferred
  • Expertise in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility frameworks and an ability to relate to diverse professional, cultural, and social perspectives in Marketing
  • Must have exceptional copywriting skills for program descriptions, emails, newsletters, social posts, and other promotional needs
  • Must have a proven track record of managing multiple tasks at once and within a determined timeframe
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to focus, prioritize, and make decisions in an ever-changing environment
  • Must handle pressure situations tactfully and diplomatically, accomplishing objectives with a collaborative work style
  • Experience working directly with graphic designers is a
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team
