Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own the day-to-day management, analysis, and optimization of paid advertising across: Google Ads and Google Shopping; Meta/Facebook Ads; Microsoft Advertising/Bing; Amazon Advertising; TikTok Ads
  • Campaign creation and optimization, keyword and audience targeting, bid and budget management, Shopping and product-feed advertising, remarketing, creative testing, search-term analysis, budget allocation, and performance analysis by product and category
  • The objective is not simply to maximize advertising-attributed revenue. Advertising decisions should ultimately support profitable growth.
  • Manage and continuously improve key areas of the BLUEROCK Tools online business, including: Creating and maintaining product listings; Building new products and categories in BigCommerce; Improving product descriptions, specifications, images, videos, and supporting content; Website merchandising; Developing online promotions; Identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities; Monitoring conversion rates and customer behavior; Identifying opportunities to improve the purchasing experience; Coordinating and improving product content across marketplaces
  • New Product Launches: lead role in bringing product to market, including competitive market research, online product positioning, website listings, product photography and video coordination, product copy and supporting content, advertising campaigns, marketplace content, email, social media, launch promotions, post-launch analysis and optimization
  • Content, Email & Social Media: Manage BLUEROCK Tools’ presence across relevant social platforms with an emphasis on useful, commercially relevant content; Develop email campaigns and customer-retention initiatives including new-product announcements, promotions, abandoned-cart programs, cross-selling, reactivation, and repeat-purchase campaigns
  • SEO & Organic Growth: Identify and execute opportunities to increase organic search visibility through product and category optimization, buying guides and comparison content, FAQs and educational content, video, internal linking, keyword research, and other opportunities; Coordinate outside SEO resources when appropriate
  • Analytics & Reporting: Develop clear reporting that allows company leadership to understand what is working, what isn’t, and where opportunities exist; include metrics such as revenue, advertising spend, ROAS, customer acquisition cost, contribution margin, conversion rate, traffic, AOV, product and category performance, marketplace performance, and new-product launch performance; investigate why performance changed and what should be done about it
  • Platform, Vendor & Agency Management: Work with representatives from Google, Meta, Amazon, BigCommerce, Feedonomics, and other platforms; document, escalate, and follow through on technical or account-support cases; troubleshoot feed, advertising, marketplace, tracking, and e-commerce platform issues; evaluate and manage outside agencies, freelancers, and contractors; hold outside providers accountable for performance
  • AI & Automation: Use AI and automation tools to improve productivity, analyze information, develop and refine marketing content, research competitors and markets, streamline workflows, and solve business problems; be curious, adaptable, and willing to experiment

Requirements

  • Meaningful hands-on experience marketing and selling physical products through e-commerce
  • Hands-on paid advertising experience
  • Strong analytical and commercial judgment
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms and marketplaces
  • Technical-product aptitude and the ability to learn unfamiliar products quickly
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Resourcefulness and independent problem-solving ability
  • Comfort troubleshooting unfamiliar systems and platform problems
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities without constant supervision
  • An understanding that profitable growth—not clicks, followers, or attributed revenue—is the ultimate objective
