Responsibilities

• Engage with residents through friendly, face-to-face conversations to inform them about our programs and initiatives
• Conduct door-to-door canvassing in assigned neighborhoods using mobile devices to record interactions and gather feedback
• Promote community events, fundraising campaigns, or service offerings with enthusiasm and professionalism
• Identify potential supporters or volunteers, answer questions, and address concerns effectively
• Maintain a high level of outdoor activity by walking through neighborhoods to maximize outreach efforts
• Use negotiation and conversational engagement techniques to motivate participation or donations
• Collaborate with team members to strategize outreach plans and share insights on community needs

Requirements

• Prior experience in field sales, canvassing, or outdoor marketing is highly desirable
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences confidently
• Bilingual abilities are a plus to connect with a broader community base
• Demonstrated experience in customer service or face-to-face interaction roles
• Comfortable walking for extended periods in outdoor environments using mobile devices for data entry and communication
• Proven ability to motivate others through persuasive negotiation and conversational skills
• Supervising experience or leadership roles in community engagement projects are advantageous
