Door-to-Door Canvasser

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face canvassing by walking door-to-door within assigned neighborhoods to introduce our organization’s programs and initiatives.
• Engage in conversational outreach to educate residents about our services, answer questions, and address concerns with professionalism and enthusiasm.
• Collect feedback from community members to better understand their needs and interests.
• Promote fundraising campaigns or community programs through persuasive communication and active listening.
• Utilize mobile devices to record interactions, update contact information, and track progress in real-time.
• Build rapport with residents by demonstrating excellent customer service skills, ensuring positive experiences during each visit.
• Collaborate with team members to strategize outreach efforts, share insights, and achieve collective goals efficiently

Requirements

• Proven experience in field sales, canvassing, or outdoor marketing environments
• Strong face-to-face communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively
• Experience in community engagement, fundraising, or customer service enhances your effectiveness in this role
• Comfortable walking outdoors for extended periods in various weather conditions; outdoor work experience is preferred
• Skilled in negotiation and conversational engagement to foster trust and motivate support or donations
