Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Be part of the Disney Eats team, producing relevant creative content across various social platforms, including Disney Parks Blog, Disney Eats Instagram, and Facebook.
  • Ideate, capture, and edit social content for Disney Eats throughout the parks and resorts, including photography and video.
  • Identify and write engaging audience-focused blogs.
  • Support Food & Beverage aspects of Public Relations/Broadcast media events, from planning to execution.
  • Monitor and interact with social comments on Disney Eats social platforms.
  • Manage Smartsheet for all blogs, ensuring all copy and assets are accurate and ready to craft the blog.
  • Pull social stats for weekly blog reports.
  • Help route social approvals from teams across the company.
  • Submit Project Request forms for blog content.
  • Assist in updating and maintaining the Disney Eats photo library.

  • Willing to contribute your skills while always being open to learning and confident to ask questions.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and best practices.
  • Education - A junior or senior pursuing a degree in Public Relations, Public Affairs, Communications, Journalism, Digital Media, Customer Engagement, Marketing, or other relevant subjects.

Preferred

  • Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Keynote, Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, iOS operating system, Smartsheet, or Monday.com.
  • Previous communications experience.
  • An ability to write for various platforms and a love of storytelling are ideal.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, videography, and/or photography.
  • Experience with social tracking and metrics sites such as Sprinklr and Adobe Analytics.
  • Previous experience working on social media in an academic or professional setting; posting and writing in the voice/tone of an organization.
  • Proven campaign and event planning experience.
  • Previous Disney experience with knowledge of Walt Disney World property and products.
