Responsibilities

• Strategic Advising: Partner with executive and their team to develop communication strategies and roadmaps. Identify and capitalize on strategic opportunities that align with business objectives. Support the management of high-impact communications for time-sensitive situations.
• Narrative & Content Development: Craft clear, compelling messaging for diverse audiences. Develop speeches, keynotes, presentations, articles, and multimedia content that establish thought leadership and reinforce organizational priorities.
• Executive Guidance: Work with executives to refine their presentation skills, communication style, and engagement approach with internal and external stakeholders.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with PR, Marketing, Product, Analyst Relations, Sales, and other functions to ensure messaging consistency and amplify organizational initiatives across channels.
• Strategy Execution: Design and implement communication vehicles (broadcasts, roundtables, social media, events, etc.). Establish metrics to measure effectiveness and refine strategies based on feedback and results.

Requirements

• - 6+ years of experience with executive communications
• - Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business Administration, Journalism, or related field
• - Demonstrated success creating content that engages employees, customers, partners, and/or external stakeholders
• - Strong visual and written communication skills, with expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and related tools
• - Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities while maintaining high-quality execution

Preferred

• - Experience in IT or technology a plus
• - Experience using AI tools to scale impact, drive efficiency, and enhance communications
• - Knowledge of Cisco products and/or enterprise technology landscape
