Own and drive comprehensive marketing, communications, and public relations programs, harmonizing cross‑department goals and acting as the principal spokesperson to enhance the school’s image and donor engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Creates and oversees implementation of marketing, communications, advertising, and public relations plans through various media (social, website, print, etc.).
  • Develops a communication plan and create internal processes and guidelines necessary to ensure a consistently high standard of performance across the institution.
  • Promotes a culture that values compelling content, engaging design, innovation, effective use of technology, and exceptional quality.
  • Partners with colleagues across departments to ensure clarity and consistency in all communications goals and objectives.
  • In collaboration with the Advancement team, designs strategies and implement concrete plans to engage alumni, parents, and constituents, and to inspire increased, consistent giving.
  • Manages the development, design, distribution, and maintenance of all print and electronic collateral including, but not limited to, the Advancement/Annual Review magazine, newsletters, admissions materials, fundraising campaign materials, annual report, special events, website, and social media platforms.
  • Manages relationships with any external designers, print vendors, and other contractors.
  • With the President, serves as the school’s primary spokesperson with the media; develops and maintain communication between the school and the media to promote newsworthy stories and activities, report significant student and faculty accomplishments and identify the school as a leader in education in the Warren/Trumbull County community.

Requirements

  • Education. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Communications, Digital Design, or related field
  • Demonstrated fluency with digital media and social platforms for marketing and communication purposes, including web analytics and content development for social media and online advertising.
  • Provides support for special events including invitations, reservations, and program/sponsorship design.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and speaking skills with meticulous attention to detail, creativity, quality, and timeliness.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, monitor, and adhere to schedules and budgets.
