Job Summary

Own and scale marketing across brands and verticals by leading a remote team, driving demand generation, and optimizing event ROI while aligning with sales, ops, and CX to grow revenue.

  • Own integrated demand generation and awareness programs across brands, leveraging AI, ABM, automation, events, and content to capture leads and upsell.
  • Lead a remote marketing team, drive collaboration, training, and process improvements while managing budgets with procurement.
  • Define messaging and proposition across lines, coordinating with sales, ops, and CX to drive new customer growth and retention.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring a high quality and quantity of leads, for converting marketing leads into sales leads, innovative ways to capture leads, and leveraging our existing database more effectively. Additionally, ensuring all event opportunities are fully leveraged to capture leads, generate awareness, and manage our brands. Establishing true ROI for events is necessary.
  • Execute successful marketing campaigns taking advantage of modern marketing technology and approach – AI, automation, ABM, retargeting – to establish brand leadership, build awareness, generate leads, upsell existing customers and support retention goals.
  • Management of marketers, all of whom work remotely, so strong, effective and engaging leadership is critical.
  • Budget management – planning, creating, and consistently tracking. Leveraging the Procurement team is a requirement.
  • Evaluate current marketing structure and operations and take necessary steps to improve collaboration, workflows and tracking. Documenting best practices and establishing a relevant, ongoing training and development approach.
  • Take a leadership role within the department, to ensure the success of each team member and the broader success of the department in an effort to continue to elevate Marketing’s profile.
  • Leverage our database and library of assets - The Director, Marketing will work with their team of marketing professionals to establish consistent and measurable initiatives to generate leads, create awareness, and build our brands through email marketing, webinars, collateral, direct mail, social networking, SEO, internal assets, thought leadership, tradeshows and events, customer programs, and more.
  • Will own proposition across all brands, verticals and LOBs, ensuring a consistent approach that engages and inspires the customer. Specifically, this leader will be responsible for working with their team as well as sales, ops and CX leaders to create messaging that is dynamic, relevant, flexible, and effective in order to sell to new customers and upsell into existing customers.
  • Develop marketing strategies for each business line and brand, focusing on demand generation, pricing growth, solution penetration, and customer retention. Stay informed about market trends, industry insights, and competitor activities to refine strategies.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 10 plus years experience as a dynamic senior level leader with at least 5 years in a Marketing leadership role, working with diverse teams in a field based business on a national scale.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related area, BA or BS; Master’s degree a plus.
  • Strong presentation skills are required.
  • Deep knowledge of lead creation, development, nurturing, and management.
  • Must possess superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a heightened sense of attention to detail are key.
  • Strong interpersonal skills that allow for healthy internal and external relationships are a must.
  • Experience with the Google Platform is a plus.
  • Experience with aspects of both B2B and B2C, including marketing, sales, service, customer relationship management (CRM), product, pricing and superior data analytics capability.

Preferred

  • Experience with the Google Platform is a plus.
  • Master’s Degree preferred.
