Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage social media content across multiple platforms.
  • Develop marketing materials, flyers, and promotional campaigns.
  • Represent Fresh Start Project at community events, outreach activities, and public meetings.
  • Coordinate public awareness campaigns and fundraising promotions.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, organizations, and media outlets.
  • Assist with event planning and community engagement activities.
  • Ensure all public communications accurately reflect the organization’s mission and values.
  • Monitor public feedback and help maintain a positive public image.
  • Work closely with board members and volunteers to promote programs and services.

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
  • Ability to create engaging content and promotional materials.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Professional and positive attitude when interacting with the public.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
  • Passion for community service, outreach, and helping others.

Preferred

  • Experience in public relations, marketing, communications, nonprofit work, or community outreach.
  • Experience with graphic design programs such as Canva, GIMP, or similar software.
  • Knowledge of fundraising and community engagement strategies.
