Job Summary

Own the foundation's communications spine across brand messaging, donor relations, and events, with tight ownership of the donor database, mailings, and the website while translating board updates into compelling external stories.

Oversee donor database, mailings, email blasts, and website updates to drive consistent engagement.
Manage printed publications and board communications to support fundraising and governance.
Coordinate communications and fundraising appeals with event planning to move donor relations forward.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the overall management and direction of communications, marketing, media, donor relations, fundraising appeals and event planning.
Manage donor database, create and oversee mailings and email blasts.
Manage and update website.
Create or oversee the creation of all printed publications.
Participate in Foundation Board Meetings and communicate with Foundation Board Members.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of marketing and/or communications experience.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Familiar with Mac OS platform, Adobe Creative Cloud programs, Microsoft Office, website management and social media platform content creation.
Excellent communication, writing and editing abilities, design and layout skills.
Database experience and grant writing experience a plus.
Must have a valid Driver License for a minimum of 1 year.
