Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own the development and governance of enterprise messaging, including talking points, key narratives, and leadership communications
  • Partner with senior leadership to develop clear, consistent messaging for internal and external audiences, including speeches, presentations, and high-visibility communications
  • Ensure alignment of messaging across all channels, proactively identifying and addressing gaps or inconsistencies
  • Provide strategic oversight of all brand execution across social media, digital platforms, and campaigns, ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities and brand standards
  • Oversee the development and performance of social media strategy across all channels, driving measurable growth in engagement, reach, and brand perception
  • Guide and coach the Brand Manager in content strategy, platform optimization, and performance analytics, ensuring consistent improvement and innovation
  • Oversee website strategy and content, ensuring a cohesive, user-centered experience that reflects brand positioning and supports business objectives
  • Lead external communications strategy, including partnership with external PR firms, ensuring alignment with brand positioning, messaging, and organizational priorities
  • Provide direction on media strategy, and narrative development to elevate brand visibility and reputation
  • Manage external partners and agencies, setting expectations, evaluating performance, and ensuring high-quality deliverables
  • Lead the development and execution of enterprise brand initiatives that strengthen market presence and support long-term growth
  • Ensure brand strategy is consistently translated into actionable plans across teams, channels, and touchpoints
  • Identify opportunities to evolve and differentiate the brand based on market trends, audience insights, and business priorities
  • Provide strategic oversight of internal and external events, ensuring alignment with brand, culture, and organizational objectives
  • Guide the planning and execution of events through the Brand Manager and cross-functional partners, ensuring high-quality delivery and measurable impact
  • Leverage events as a tool to strengthen culture, engagement, and brand storytelling
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Brand Manager and other communications/brand resources, fostering growth, accountability, and high performance
  • Set clear priorities, expectations, and success metrics for the team, ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals
  • Build scalable processes, tools, and frameworks to elevate the effectiveness and efficiency of the brand and communications function
  • Act as a strategic thought partner to leadership, while also ensuring the team is equipped to execute at a high level?

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in brand, communications, public relations, or marketing, including experience operating at a strategic leadership level
  • Demonstrated experience leading enterprise brand and communications strategies across multiple channels, audiences, and business units
  • Proven track record of managing and developing team members, with the ability to elevate performance and build scalable capabilities
  • Experience partnering with senior leadership and executives to shape messaging, influence decisions, and support organizational priorities
  • Strong experience working with and managing external PR firms, agencies, and vendors, including setting strategy, evaluating performance, and ensuring delivery against objectives
  • Experience overseeing digital platforms, including social media strategy and website content, with a focus on performance, growth, and user experience
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives in complex, multi-entity or matrixed organizations
  • Experience developing and executing external communications strategies, including media relations, storytelling, and brand positioning
  • Experience in internal communications and employee engagement initiatives, including leadership messaging and organizational alignment
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to align brand and communications strategies to broader organizational goals and priorities
  • Proven experience in managing projects involving multiple parties, outside resources, and evolving deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • PR confidence that includes media pitching, release writing, crisis communications and serving as a company spokesperson under direction.
  • Solid internal communications and event support experience, including drafting materials and coordinating logistics.
  • Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment while remaining organized and adaptable.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for improvement and support implementation and follow-up.
  • Demonstrated initiative and willingness to take on new tasks and responsibilities as needed.
