Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Identify, research, and pursue grant opportunities aligned with Emerge's mission from foundations, government agencies, and corporate partners
  • Write and submit compelling grant proposals and manage reporting requirements for awarded grants
  • Build and steward relationships with donors, community partners, and philanthropic organizations
  • Develop and execute a community engagement strategy that elevates Emerge's visibility and impact
  • Collaborate with the CEO to align philanthropic initiatives with organizational goals and growth priorities
  • Track and report on fundraising metrics, grant pipelines, and community partnership outcomes

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in philanthropy, grant writing, fundraising, and/or community engagement
  • A proven track record of securing grants and building donor relationships
  • Exceptional written communication skills — you can tell a mission-driven story that moves people to act
  • Experience working with nonprofit, faith-based, and/or women-focused organizations is strongly preferred
  • Self-directed, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a remote, fast-moving environment
