Drive new business and marketing leadership for Coyne PR on a six-month contract, shaping strategy, submissions, and external presence.

Own incoming new business leads and alignment with agency priorities.
Must-have: 10+ years in a PR agency focused on marketing or new business.
Standout: Six-month contract with potential longer-term opportunity and agency-wide impact.

Manage and qualify incoming new business leads, ensuring alignment with agency priorities
Partner with internal teams to shape, refine, and elevate new business strategies and submissions
Ensure all materials are polished, compelling, and client-ready in collaboration with a dedicated designer
Apply a strong editorial and creative lens to all deliverables
Lead development, editing, and submission of industry award entries (e.g., PRWeek, PRSA, Sabre Awards, etc.)
Oversee external partners, including SEO agency relationships
Evaluate and recommend sponsorship and visibility opportunities
Guide agency social presence (LinkedIn and owned channels), including content around milestones, culture, and thought leadership
Write, edit and distribute agency press releases, internal newsletters and external marketing collateral (Coyne Hot Sheet)

10+ years of experience within a PR agency in a marketing, new business, or similar role
Not a traditional account lead—this role requires a builder/operator mindset
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple workstreams
Strategic thinker with strong creative instincts and a sharp editorial eye
Confident and collaborative, comfortable working with senior stakeholders
Strong communicator with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach
