Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the RAS growth strategy, unifying marketing, business development, customer engagement, capture, and product positioning into one integrated plan spanning Special Operations, Joint, service, homeland security, and other Government agency markets.
  • Streamline growth plans across markets into a single portfolio roadmap that prioritizes pursuits, sequences investments, and accelerates delivery of technology capabilities to Government customers.
  • Align the RAS portfolio with the Department of War's leading autonomy, robotics, and unmanned systems initiatives, anticipating emerging requirements and positioning capabilities ahead of need.
  • Lead marketing and positioning for the RAS portfolio, including capability messaging, product campaigns, demonstrations, industry events, and thought leadership that differentiate LMI's ability to accredit, integrate, and operationalize autonomy for Government missions.
  • Build alignment among Government customers, operational users, program offices, acquisition organizations, industry partners, and LMI market leadership so growth priorities, investments, and delivery commitments stay synchronized.
  • Develop market intelligence and competitive assessments that inform market entry decisions, bid strategies, win themes, and discriminators tied to customer priorities and evaluation criteria.
  • Own the RAS opportunity pipeline, enforcing qualification discipline, leading pipeline and capture reviews, and providing award forecasts and growth reporting to RAS and corporate leadership.
  • Direct high priority captures from qualification through proposal submission and award transition, and shape responses to requests for information, white papers, capability statements, proposals, and oral presentations.
  • Grow the partner ecosystem by identifying teaming needs, assessing vendors and technology partners, and coordinating teaming strategies and agreements with LMI leadership and contracts personnel.
  • Partner with product and delivery teams to translate operator feedback and mission outcomes into product roadmaps, expansion of existing programs, and new offerings that extend mission impact.

Requirements

  • Active Secret security clearance, with the ability to maintain the clearance throughout employment.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required.
  • Minimum of ten years of federal business development, capture, marketing, or growth strategy experience, including experience leading growth for a defense portfolio, account, or business unit.
  • Demonstrated record of growing a defense business through integrated strategy, marketing, pipeline development, and capture leadership, with measurable contributions to contract awards and program expansion.
  • Demonstrated experience aligning multiple markets, customers, and internal stakeholders around a unified growth plan, including prioritizing pursuits and investments across competing demands.
  • Working knowledge of federal acquisition processes, contract vehicles, task-order competitions, and rapid acquisition pathways, and the relationship among customer requirements, funding, solicitations, and award decisions.
  • Ability to work with technical experts and product teams to understand capabilities, identify customer value, and communicate solutions accurately in meetings, briefings, and written responses.
  • Strong writing, briefing, research, organization, and stakeholder coordination skills, with the ability to manage concurrent pursuits and deadlines.
  • Experience maintaining opportunity pipelines and capture documentation using customer relationship management systems and Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and collaboration tools.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, lead through influence, protect sensitive business information, and travel periodically.

Preferred

  • Master's degree in business administration, engineering, national security, technology management, or a related discipline.
  • Experience pursuing Department of War opportunities, particularly those supporting Special Operations Forces, combatant commands, military services, or defense technology organizations.
  • Growth, business development, or capture experience involving robotics, autonomous or uncrewed systems, counter-unmanned systems, mission software, artificial intelligence, data, systems integration, test and evaluation, training, or sustainment.
  • Experience with rapid acquisition and innovation opportunities, including Other Transaction agreements, Small Business Innovation Research Phase III, Commercial Solutions Openings, or Broad Agency Announcements.
  • Experience marketing and growing proprietary products and platforms within a defense services or technology company, including product campaigns, demonstrations, and industry engagement.
