Washington National Cathedral is a house of prayer for all people, conceived by our founders to serve as a great church for national purposes. The Cathedral is built to inspire: a national treasure and Gothic architectural feat standing at the highest point in Washington, DC. Inside, artwork and exhibits tell the American story of faith. Outside, the 59 acres of gardens and grounds provide a beautiful sanctuary. Above all else, the Cathedral is a place for spiritual enrichment.
