Job Summary

Drive marketing leadership across two technology brands, building a high-performing team and aligning product storytelling, demand generation, and partnerships to accelerate pipeline.

  • Own marketing leadership across two brands and build a high-performance team.
  • Must-have: Full-funnel B2B demand generation driving qualified pipeline.
  • Standout: Dual-track content leadership from executive narratives to technical assets.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership Lead, mentor, and develop a team of marketing professionals. Set clear goals, foster collaboration, and build a high-performance marketing function that punches above its weight.
  • Corporate Messaging & Brand Ownership: Define, maintain, and evolve the corporate messaging and brand voice for two technology brands. Ensure consistency, differentiation, and resonance across all customer-facing touchpoints, channels, and audiences — from technical practitioners to C-suite buyers.
  • B2B Demand Generation Own the full-funnel B2B demand generation strategy. Build and scale a lead generation engine that fills the sales pipeline with qualified opportunities, leveraging digital, content, and account-based marketing tactics tailored to complex, longer sales cycles.
  • Product Marketing & GTM Partner closely with the Product team to drive go-to-market strategies for new features, products, and launches across both brands. Translate technical specifications into clear, value-driven messaging that resonates with B2B buyers at every stage of the funnel.
  • Technical Narrative Strategy: Own product and solution messaging. Distill complex architecture, integrations, and technical specifications into compelling, benefit-led narratives without losing credibility with engineers, integrators, or technical evaluators.
  • Dual-Track Content Leadership Oversee a content strategy that operates on two tracks simultaneously: high-level thought leadership for executive stakeholders (CEOs, CFOs, IT leaders) and deep-dive technical assets (white papers, API guides, documentation, case studies) for practitioners and developers.
  • Sales & Product Alignment Act as the primary bridge between the Product/Engineering teams and the Sales organization. Ensure every product launch is accompanied by marketing materials such as battlecards, one-pagers, pitch decks, and enablement content that sales teams can actually use in the field.
  • Partner Marketing Design and execute a partner marketing program tailored to the company’s channel-driven go-to-market model. The company’s products are sold through physical access control software partners, making these relationships critical to revenue success. You will develop co-marketing initiatives, partner-facing collateral, joint campaign playbooks, and enablement resources that help partners position and sell technical solutions effectively. Build strong relationships with key partner marketing contacts and ensure the business is represented compellingly within partner ecosystems, portals, and events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience leading a marketing team specifically within a technology business.
  • Proven success in a high-growth environment (e.g., scaling a company from Series B to D, or managing $20M+ growth phases).
  • Demonstrated ability to take "dense" technical concepts and make them accessible to non-technical buyers without losing the "expert" audience.
  • Strategic Tech Stack Expert-level command of marketing automation and CRM tools (HubSpot) used to track complex, technical sales cycles.

Benefits

  • Base Salary: $140,000–$160,000, plus eligibility for an annual company bonus program and merit increases.
  • Retirement: After 30 days, eligible for the company retirement program, where you are 100% vested immediately and features up to a 6% 401(k) match.
  • Health: Great rates on company-sponsored medical, dental, and vision insurance, with HSA-eligible plans available.
  • Growth: We prefer to build talent from within, offering substantial opportunities for cross-collaboration and engineering career advancement, plus a $2,500 educational grant opportunity.
