Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead a global events strategy and annual plan aligned with business priorities, regional growth plans, product launches, customer segments, and sales objectives.
  • Own end-to-end planning and execution for trade shows, conferences, customer summits, executive briefings, partner events, hospitality programs, and internal marketing-led experiences.
  • Manage event budgets, creative development, production, logistics, staffing, agencies, vendors, executive engagement, scalable planning processes, and post-event reporting.
  • Partner with Product Marketing, Sales, and executive leadership to define event goals, audience strategy, product storytelling, customer engagement plans, and executive participation.
  • Lead customer-facing event experiences—including messaging, presentations, booth environments, product demonstrations, signage, and collateral—to ensure brand consistency, technical accuracy, and compelling storytelling.
  • Direct and manage agencies, production partners, venues, fabricators, and vendors to ensure strong execution, brand quality, and fiscal discipline.
  • Measure event performance using KPIs, customer feedback, pipeline influence, executive engagement, sales follow-up, and ROI to improve future programs and guide investment decisions.
  • Serve as the brand steward for events by maintaining standards for booth design, signage, presentations, product displays, messaging, and customer experiences.
  • Develop and govern event and field marketing assets while enabling internal teams, agencies, and vendors with templates, toolkits, training, and brand guidelines.
  • Manage branded merchandise, promotional programs, company store needs and field branding initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, and communications, or a related field.
  • 10 or more years of B2B marketing experience, with significant leadership responsibility in global events, experiential marketing, field marketing, customer marketing, or integrated marketing.
  • Proven success developing and executing global event strategies, executive experiences, customer programs, partner activations, and trade shows that support sales, product launches, customer engagement, and brand leadership.
  • Strong experience leading and managing teams, agencies, vendors, budgets, and complex cross-functional initiatives involving internal, external, and executive stakeholders.
  • Strong executive communication skills, with the ability to simplify complexity and present clear recommendations to executive stakeholders
  • Experience using data, KPIs, and stakeholder feedback to evaluate event performance and guide investment decisions.
  • Strong understanding of brand standards, creative production, event design, customer experience, and field execution.

Preferred

  • Experience in renewable energy, industrial technology, infrastructure, manufacturing, power generation, or other complex B2B markets, including marketing to developers, EPCs, utilities, asset owners, operators, and investors.
  • Experience managing events across North America, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, India, and Asia Pacific.
  • Experience supporting product launches, technical demonstrations, customer summits, executive briefings, and large-scale trade shows.
  • Experience developing event toolkits, brand systems, field marketing assets, and customer experience standards for global teams.
