  • Own the events strategy and calendar
  • Coordinate with Ad Sales Marketing and Creative to brief and deliver assets
  • Lead pre-event planning, briefs, and post-event recaps

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategic vision for how Atmosphere TV shows up at events across both the Ad Sales and Venue Sales functions — ensuring each event has a clear objective, a defined audience, and a thoughtful plan to deliver against both.
  • Build and maintain a master events calendar that spans hundreds of activations annually — from large industry conferences and summits to intimate client dinners and field marketing moments.
  • Serve as the strategic connective tissue between the two sales teams, making sure events are planned with intentionality and that each team has what they need to show up prepared and on-brand.
  • Lead pre-event strategy: set goals, define the approach, brief stakeholders, and establish a clear picture of what success looks like before anyone steps foot on-site.
  • Identify opportunities for Atmosphere TV to show up in new ways — sponsorships, hosted experiences, tentpole moments — that build brand recognition and generate meaningful conversations.
  • Lead and develop a small existing events team, bringing structure, clarity, and mentorship to a group that is ready for strong leadership.
  • Own the events budget with full transparency — tracking spend, flagging variances early, reconciling after every event, and communicating proactively to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Build and maintain systems for over-communication: event briefs, run-of-show documents, stakeholder updates, and post-event recaps that keep everyone aligned before, during, and after.
  • Partner closely with the Ad Sales Marketing team, who creates materials and assets for events, to ensure everything is briefed correctly, produced on time, and on-brand.
  • Collaborate with the Creative team on the right way to show up at each event — from booth design and signage to digital screens, branded swag, and leave-behind materials — ensuring Atmosphere TV looks and feels like the premium platform it is.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of marketing experience with a meaningful concentration in events strategy and execution — you've owned a large, complex events calendar before and you know what it takes.
  • A strong marketing generalist: you understand paid, owned, earned, and shared media, and you can provide real value beyond events when the team needs it.
  • Exceptionally organized and a relentless over-communicator — you run a tight ship, nothing falls through the cracks, and the people you work with always know what's happening and what's coming.
  • Skilled at managing budgets with discipline and transparency — you track every dollar, report proactively, and make smart tradeoffs when needed.
  • A natural collaborator who works fluidly across teams — events doesn't live in a silo here, and you thrive in a matrixed environment where relationship-building is part of the job.
  • A social media and content marketing whiz — you have a genuine instinct for what performs, what resonates, and how to build a brand presence that grows over time.
  • A leader who develops people, not just manages them — you bring structure and standards to a small team while creating the conditions for them to do their best work.
  • A creative thinker who cares about how things look and feel — you have opinions about brand presence, event aesthetics, and what it means to show up well, and you know how to brief a creative team to get there.
  • Comfortable in a scrappy, fast-moving environment where plans shift, no job is too small, and a bias toward action is a virtue.
  • Human, warm, and grounded — you lead with respect, you earn trust by doing excellent work, and you'd never ask someone to do something you wouldn't do yourself.

Preferred

  • Experience at a media, ad tech, CTV, streaming, or place-based media company — you understand the landscape we operate in.
  • Familiarity with B2B marketing and/or sales-adjacent event marketing — you know how to serve two very different sales team audiences simultaneously.
  • Experience with both large-scale trade shows (think: CES, Cannes) and high-touch client event formats — you can operate at both ends of the spectrum.
  • Background working alongside or inside a creative team — you know how to brief clearly, give useful feedback, and get great work out of collaborators.
  • Email/newsletter creation and deployment, specifically work within Hubspot

Benefits

  • Competitive salary
  • Company Equity
  • Company 401(k) with employer matching
  • Competitive insurance plans
  • Flexible Time Off Policy

Closed-captioned talking heads, news and reality TV on mute is no way to watch TV in businesses. So Atmosphere set off to conquer an entirely new class of TV programming: audio-optional streaming TV.Businesses can now run their own marketing promotions both within their venues and outside of them by utilizing Atmosphere Ads, and keep the content fresh with custom playlists!Atmosphere was incubated under Chive Media Group and spun out in 2019.
