Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of two including a social media manager and graphic designer.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, audience needs, and competitive positioning.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with organizational mission and goals, collaborating with program + admin teams to ensure alignment with offerings and educational pedagogy.
  • Works as part of the administrative team to bridge efforts that span both departments and communications across all channels.
  • Oversee all aspects of digital marketing including SEO, content marketing, email marketing, and social media marketing.
  • Manage advertising sales initiatives and optimize print advertising campaigns.
  • Utilize Google Analytics and other analytics tools to track performance metrics and adjust strategies. accordingly.
  • Lead the creation of engaging content across multiple channels including website (WordPress), social media platforms (Instagram + Facebook), and email campaigns (Mailchimp).
  • Collaborate with program + admin teams to ensure alignment with offerings, communication and educational pedagogy.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.

Requirements

  • Work Location: In-person 514 Bainbridge Street with the possibility for remote work 1 day per week.
  • Excellent copy-writing skills with the ability to create compelling content that drives engagement.
  • Strong creative skills in both visual design and problem solving.
  • Proven experience in a marketing role with a focus on multichannel strategies.
  • Familiarity with WordPress and basic HTML for website management tasks.
  • Significant experience with email marketing.
  • Knowledge of digital marketing techniques including SEO, PPC (Google AdWords), and analytical tools.
  • Understand the needs of children, parents, and adult students in relation to arts education.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines with precision.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to see the broad picture while diving deep into details.

Preferred

  • A degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred (equivalent experience satisfies this preference).
