Job Summary

Own and drive the analytics and measurement capability across marketing, digital experience and enterprise programs, establishing governance, dashboards, KPI architecture and cross-channel insights to inform executive decision making.

  • Build and govern analytics products and executive scorecards
  • Synthesize performance signals into clear narratives and actions

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Build the analytics and measurement capability. Establish an integrated experience, engagement and retention measurement framework that connects audiences, journeys, channels, brand, reputation and experience performance to enterprise priorities and defines how evidence will inform decisions.
  • Build and govern analytics products. Lead the design, hands-on development and ongoing improvement of executive scorecards, dashboards, analytical datasets and self-service reporting products. Personally help your analysts build priority products during the capability-development period and establish scalable standards for metric logic, visualization, documentation, quality assurance, release management and adoption.
  • Perform and direct hands-on analysis. Use SQL, Python and enterprise business-intelligence tools to query and integrate approved data sources, investigate performance drivers, automate recurring analysis, validate results and develop statistical, forecasting and scenario-based analyses. Review analyst and vendor work closely enough to identify coding, methodology and data-quality weaknesses.
  • Own KPI architecture and governance. Define metric hierarchies, formulas, sources, transformation logic, owners, targets, confidence levels and reporting standards; govern changes so leaders receive consistent, comparable and decision-ready measures.
  • Create the integrated performance narrative. Synthesize website, CRM and lifecycle, paid media, owned and earned communications, SEO/GEO, AI visibility, brand, trust, reputation and other journey signals into clear explanations of what changed, why it changed, the business implication and the recommended action.
  • Improve executive decisions. Lead recurring scorecards, performance reviews and deep dives that identify trends, tradeoffs, investment shifts, accountable owners and actions—not simply performance status.
  • Lead website and digital-experience analytics. Evaluate acquisition, engagement, content, accessibility, journey progression and conversion performance across DaVita.com and priority digital experiences; identify friction and recommend roadmap, content and optimization priorities.
  • Lead CRM and lifecycle measurement. Define lifecycle KPIs, audience and journey reporting, test designs and longitudinal performance views; maintain analytical independence while enabling CRM leaders to improve sequencing, experience, retention and activation.
  • Evaluate paid-media and cross-channel effectiveness. Set common effectiveness standards, distinguish platform-reported activity from incremental impact, evaluate audience and creative performance, and recommend allocation and optimization decisions with channel leaders and Finance.
  • Measure brand, trust, reputation and communications outcomes. Connect communications exposure, message performance, brand-health research, trust and reputation measures to priority audiences and enterprise outcomes; clarify what available evidence can and cannot establish and apply consistent insight governance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in analytics, statistics, economics, marketing, business, data science, communications research or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 8 or more years of progressively responsible experience in marketing, digital, customer, communications or business analytics, including experience leading analysts or multidisciplinary analytics work.
  • Experience building or materially transforming an analytics and measurement capability in a complex, matrixed organization with fragmented data ownership.
  • Advanced hands-on proficiency in SQL required, including the ability to query, join, transform and validate data from multiple sources and review the work of other analysts.
  • Hands-on proficiency in Python required, including experience using code for data preparation, exploratory analysis, automation, quality assurance, statistical analysis, forecasting or scenario modeling. Comparable analytical programming experience may be considered when paired with demonstrated ability to work effectively in Python.
  • Demonstrated experience designing, building, deploying and governing executive dashboards, scorecards and self-service analytics products using enterprise business-intelligence and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau or a comparable platform.
  • Ability to define and validate business-facing data models, semantic definitions, calculated measures, dashboard logic and analytical datasets while partnering with technical teams on production pipelines and enterprise architecture.
  • Advanced fluency in KPI design, web and digital analytics, CRM and lifecycle measurement, paid-media measurement, experimentation, incrementality, attribution, forecasting and the integration of behavioral analytics with consumer or brand research.
  • Demonstrated ability to connect marketing and communications performance to patient, customer, reputation, experience, financial or enterprise outcomes and translate findings into specific decisions and resource implications.
  • Experience with version control, reproducible analytical workflows, data-quality testing and technical documentation strongly preferred.

Benefits

  • Comprehensive benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, paid time off, PTO cash out
  • Support for you and your family: Family resources, EAP counseling sessions, access Headspace ® , backup child and elder care, maternity/paternity leave and more
  • Professional development programs: DaVita offers a variety of programs to help strong performers grow within their career and also offers on-demand virtual leadership and development courses through DaVita’s online training platform StarLearning.
