Job Summary

Own the school’s marketing and branding engine to drive awareness, enrollment, and retention across websites, social media, print, and publications, while aligning storytelling with mission and community impact.

  • Strategy & Branding: Define annual plans and ensure consistent, high-quality identity across all channels.
  • Content & Communications: Oversee website, social content, viewbooks, newsletters, and donor-facing materials to support recruitment and fundraising.
  • Outreach & Partnerships: Shape outreach programs to broaden dyslexia awareness and maximize community benefit, collaborating with Admissions and Advancement on materials and programs.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Marketing & Brand Management: Develop and implement an annual marketing plan to raise public awareness, boost enrollment, and increase retention.
  • Digital & Content Strategy: Manage the website, social channels, and digital campaigns; capture and curate mission-aligned content across formats.
  • External & Internal Communications: Lead creation, editing, and project management for publications, newsletters, and communications vehicles.
  • Outreach Coordinator: Shape outreach programs and activities to raise dyslexia awareness and maximize community impact.
  • Admissions & Advancement Focus: Collaborate to produce materials that support recruitment, fundraising, and alumni engagement.
  • Budget & Vendor Management: Develop and monitor the marketing budget; manage designers, printers, and merchandise vendors.
  • General Support: Provide Advancement support as part of a dynamic, collegial team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3–5+ years of marketing or communications experience, preferably in a nonprofit or independent school
  • Proven ability to lead multiple projects and meet strict deadlines
  • Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, design, and storytelling skills
  • Proficiency with CMS and social media analytics tools
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and email/mailing software
  • Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends
