Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Scale Competitive Programs: Redesign how competitive and market intelligence is captured, structured, and scaled enterprise-wide by turning ad-hoc insights into a systematic, repeatable program for thousands of sellers.
  • TAM & Whitespace Analysis: Conduct rigorous market research to model TAM (Total Addressable Market), SAM, market share dynamics, and vertical whitespace opportunities across analytics, BI, and AI platforms.
  • Bridge Market Realities: Partner closely with Product Marketing (PMM) and Product Management to infuse strategic messaging, positioning, and roadmaps with real-time field realities and buyer behavior.
  • Market & Industry Trend Tracking: Monitor emerging macro trends, customer buying shifts, and competitive dynamics to identify threats and growth avenues.
  • Scaled Intelligence Delivery: Build centralized market intelligence that make market research easily consumable and actionable for leadership and sales teams.
  • Cross-Functional Strategy Alignment: Present data-backed market insights to C-suite executive stakeholders, informing GTM prioritization, vertical strategy, and ecosystem investments.

Requirements

  • 8–10+ years of experience in market research, competitive intelligence, corporate strategy, management consulting, or GTM strategy within enterprise software or data/analytics.
  • Quantitative & Modeling Rigor: Proven track record of building market sizing models (TAM/SAM/SOM), competitive share assessments, and data-driven market forecasts.
  • Scalable Systems Mindset: Demonstrated success in building programmatic, scaled research architectures that deliver continuous, actionable intelligence to field and leadership teams.
  • Market-to-Product Translation: Exceptional ability to translate macro market trends and buyer realities into concrete recommendations for Product, Marketing, and Sales leaders.
  • Domain Expertise: Deep knowledge of the business intelligence, analytics, enterprise data management, and cloud ecosystems.
  • Education: MBA or Master’s in Market Research, Economics, Finance, or equivalent experience preferred.
