Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for uncovering key LTC customer insights and identifying marketplace needs to maximize access, increase education around diagnosis and treatment, and to build a consistent approach to interact with key Long-Term Care (LTC) customers, including professional associations, pharmacy organizations, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, memory clinics and the LTC HCP treatment influencers and decision makers
  • Based on insights, lead the development and execution of LTC marketing initiatives, educational materials and resources designed to inform, and support LTC healthcare providers working in and supporting residents in LTC facilities, including physicians, pharmacists, nursing, and administrators.
  • Partner with the Director of Medical Education and KOL Strategy and Medical Affairs to coordinate the LTC speaker program plans, including speaker identification, onboarding, and ongoing management.
  • Working with key stakeholders, develop scientifically accurate, compliant, and brand-aligned LTC speaker content and materials that emphasize safety, empathy, and resident-focused storytelling.
  • Serve as the primary marketing liaison to the field teams for the LTC setting, ensuring alignment between LTC marketing initiatives and field-based LTC HCP engagement efforts designed to promote growth of the brand.
  • Directs the development of strategic LTC marketing programs for inclusion in the brand plans, determines metrics for LTC program success, and evaluates performance against metrics including contributions to the development and evolution of message strategy based upon in-depth analytics and ROI analysis.
  • Leads the LTC investments with a strong attention to detail for continuing launch excellence.
  • Manages within the established US LTC promotional budget for assigned products.
  • Represents the department as a member of cross-functional project teams providing guidance, insight, and recommendations relative to the goals and objectives of the LTC Marketing function to ensure strategic alignment across groups.
  • Monitors and ensures that all Medical Legal Review (MLR) processes are followed, and all LTC market programs are compliant with legal guidance and corporate policies.

Requirements

  • BA/BS required; life sciences degree or equivalent desirable; MBA or graduate degree preferred
  • Minimum 8 years of progressive pharmaceutical and/or biopharmaceutical commercial experience
  • Minimum 5 years of direct Long-term care market experience i.e., field or marketing or similar role preferred
  • Proficient in marketing and media tactics directed towards LTC HCPs and caregivers.
  • Success with launching a brand or major indications preferred
  • Demonstrated success in the evaluation of launch barriers and accelerators; and implementation of new initiatives, plan modifications and capturing new opportunities.
  • Functional experience within neuroscience, psychiatry, geriatrics, or Alzheimer's disease strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of the promotional review process, and the legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements governing HCP engagement, speaker programs, congress activities, and pre-approval market shaping activities
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple programs and workstreams simultaneously with a high standard of executional quality
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across functions and levels, embrace teamwork within a cross-functional environment, and lead and influence without direct authority
