Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Serving as the primary communications advisor to a global business president and supporting executive communications, visibility and engagement across all regions
  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive communications strategy aligned with business priorities and focused on clarity, culture and employee engagement while supporting broader stakeholder understanding
  • Leading planning and execution of Town Halls, leadership events and other key internal moments that connect employees to business direction
  • Owning channel strategy and content across intranet, email, video, digital screens and other platforms to ensure communications reach employees across all sites and regions
  • Supporting communications that bring clarity to business direction, operational shifts and organizational transformation
  • Creating compelling storytelling that highlights business priorities, customer value, culture, innovation and employee success
  • Developing executive social media content and visibility strategies that reinforce leadership voice and business priorities
  • Supporting media related activities in partnership with Corporate Communications including message development, media preparation and coordination of interviews or public appearances
  • Leading issues management, crisis response and reputation related communications in partnership with Legal, HR and Corporate Communications
  • Partnering with cross functional teams to ensure message alignment and consistency across the organization

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, public relations, communications, marketing or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus
  • Eight or more years of experience across communications disciplines with demonstrated strength in internal communications, executive communications and organizational storytelling for a global brand or company
  • Experience developing and implementing communications strategies that support business priorities and leadership visibility
  • Exposure to media relations and crisis communications with the ability to partner effectively with specialists in those areas
  • Experience working with executive leadership and providing strategic counsel to develop communications aligned to business needs

Preferred

  • Inspiring and innovative storyteller with strong writing skills, deep experience in content creation and solid AP Style proficiency
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to a variety of audiences
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy and strong problem-solving skills
  • Customer service-oriented mindset with a commitment to responsiveness and partnership
  • Ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization
  • Collaborative working style with an interest in partnering across a global team
  • Ability to navigate a fast-paced environment with composure, perspective and a healthy sense of humor
