Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the strategic direction of Kalkomey’s course catalog.
  • Assess the existing catalog to identify strengths, gaps, and modernization opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a prioritized roadmap for new course development and catalog updates.
  • Establish quality standards across digital courses, print materials, and instructor formats.
  • Evaluate and improve content production workflows to increase speed and efficiency.
  • Establish scalable processes for new course development and revisions.
  • Implement project management tools and systems that enable parallel production.
  • Evaluate and modernize the content production technology stack.
  • Partner with engineering to translate content production needs into technical requirements.
  • Introduce AI-enabled tools and automation to accelerate drafting and editing workflows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, instructional design, publishing, content strategy, or a related field
  • Six + years of experience in content strategy, curriculum development, publishing, or editorial leadership
  • Experience improving content production workflows and operational processes
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent content development tracks
  • Strong collaboration skills with experience partnering with product or engineering teams
  • Hands-on familiarity with AI tools used in content creation or editorial workflows
  • Strong project management and organizational leadership skills
  • Experience working with digital learning content and print/document-based materials
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to use metrics to guide content decisions
  • Demonstrated curiosity and passion for continuous learning, experimentation, and problem solving

Preferred

  • Experience with AI tools used in content creation or editorial workflows
