Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective marketing to increase and maintain the community's census and revenue.
  • Meet with referral sources, host events at the facility for qualified prospects and referral sources, and mail promotional information to prospects.
  • Seek and build positive relationships with the surrounding community and referral sources.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of all communication with prospects using the appropriate system, and track each prospective resident from initial contact to the final decision.
  • Possess and maintain a strong knowledge of the community, its benefits, and the services available.
  • Build positive and trusting relationships with prospects by listening to the needs of the prospect, asking questions to acquire more information about the prospect’s situation and concerns, and presenting the benefits of the facility to the prospective resident and/or resident’s representative.
  • Introducing prospects and their families to other employees, residents and families and providing opportunities for them to experience the benefits of the residence.
  • Following-up with prospects regularly, based on their needs and time frame.
  • Provide regular reports to the leadership team regarding sales achievements, the status of interested prospects, and implementation of the marketing plan.
  • Provide new residents and families with all move-in paperwork and ensure that it is completed and returned within a specified time frame prior to move-in.

Requirements

  • Successful experience in sales and marketing in an assisted living and or long-term care setting is required.
  • Computer experience and ability to use or learn sales programs.
  • Ability to interact and build relationships with older adults.

Preferred

  • A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
