Job Summary

Community engagement ownership to expand visibility, partnerships, and gospel-focused outreach in the Upstate region.

  • Build and nurture ties with community leaders, churches, and civic groups to broaden POP’s mission footprint.
  • Plan and run events, volunteer programs, and collaboration projects that convert goodwill into action.
  • Share impact stories and track partnerships and engagement outcomes to inform strategy.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a public ambassador for Pour Out Project at community events, gatherings, and business meetings.
  • Build relationships with community leaders, civic organizations, and churches to grow awareness of POP’s mission.
  • Create and manage opportunities for community involvement—volunteer initiatives, networking events, and collaborative projects.
  • Work to share success stories, testimonials, and impact highlights through social engagement and other channels.
  • Collaborate with the Development team to identify potential sponsors, partners, and advocates.
  • Coordinate speaking engagements, presentations, and outreach opportunities for POP leadership.
  • Track community partnerships, engagement outcomes, and outreach metrics.
  • Represent the Christian values and mission of Pour Out Project with authenticity and enthusiasm in every setting.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in community engagement, relationship management, or outreach (nonprofit or ministry experience preferred).
  • Excellent communication and public-speaking skills.
  • Outgoing, personable, and self-motivated; enjoys meeting new people and connecting networks.
  • Strong organizational and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a small, passionate team.
  • Alignment with Christian faith and values, and a desire to advance the Gospel through community impact.

Preferred

  • Established relationships within the Upstate South Carolina business, church, and nonprofit community.
  • Proven track record in fundraising and donor cultivation.
  • Background in event planning, communications, or partnership development.
  • Experience with CRM systems or community relationship tracking tools.
