Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Own the Retail Operating System: Build and manage a coordinated launch and retail performance framework for tabletop releases.
  • Lead GTM Governance: Set decision frameworks, launch thresholds, routes for resolving blocking issues, and go/no-go recommendations.
  • Manage the Retailer Lifecycle: Coordinate store entry, onboarding, and growth within the Wizards Play Network, setting standards for onboarding, enablement, and engagement.
  • Drive Retail Performance: Recognize and track metrics associated with store success, converting data into meaningful improvements.
  • Build Repeatable Commercial Programs: Develop scalable programs and activations to reduce launch variance and improve predictability.
  • Align Digital and Retail Touchpoints: Ensure digital platforms support in-store participation and direct players to events and purchase opportunities.
  • Partner Across Functions: Act as the orchestration lead across various teams to support launch success and retailer health.
  • Lead Customer Success: Coordinate the Customer Success function to ensure store feedback informs planning and program development.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience holding leadership positions in retail, channel management, or go-to-market strategy.
  • Driven comprehensive go-to-market process for physical or mixed physical and digital products.
  • Experience building and operating cross-functional launch systems with clear governance and accountability.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience translating performance data into investment decisions and implementation adjustments.
  • Experience managing retail or partner ecosystems with measurable revenue impact.
  • Clear executive communication skills with the ability to present tradeoffs, risks, and performance outcomes to senior leadership.

Preferred

  • Experience within specialty or hobby retail networks.
  • Experience scaling customer success or partner lifecycle programs.
  • Familiarity with structured operating cadences such as weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews.
