With the amount of change and transformation Associates are experiencing and will continue to experience both externally and at Mars, there has never been a more important time to ensure a consistent approach to and experience of change in our organization. The Director, Change Communications is responsible for establishing and implementing best practice change communications across the Enterprise with the goal of ensuring a best-in-class experience of change for all Associates. They will act as a center of excellence to drive capability and efficiency in the management and execution of change communications efforts throughout Mars, utilizing external partners, digital tools and systems in their work

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Align and manage frmework for best practice Change Communications at Mars.plates and other resources for use in all change communications programs across the enterprise.

  • Manage Change Communications hub including all content to support and enable Segments in the execution of change programs.

  • Provide training and 1:1 support to Segments on best-in-class change communications.

  • Drive the process to identify a “partner of choice” to support change programs in collaboration with Commercial & the Segments.

  • Lead the relationship with the partner moving forward to further build tools and capabilities on change communications for the Corporate Affairs function.  

  • Lead on digital investment opportunities for change communication in collaboration with Digital Technologies to develop 3-5 tech/AI solutions aimed at driving efficiency and supporting standardization.

  • Provide ongoing counsel to both senior leaders and CA leaders & practitioners in the Segments on communications elements of Mars change programs.

What are we looking for?

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in related work (change management, corporate communications, internal communications).

  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills to both develop the framework and help upskill others in the discipline.

  • Excellent stakeholder relationship skills and strong partnering capabilities. Comfortable around higher management. Experience with collaboration across Mars functions, Segments and markets is a big advantage.

  • Ability to lead multiple projects and processes simultaneously, and able to track projects with varying deadlines.

  • Ability to remain flexible and resilient under pressure and make quick decisions when necessary

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.

The pay range shown is applicable to all US locations listed within the job posting:USD 169,840.00 - USD 233,530.00
