Responsibilities

• Build, develop, and supervise a team of canvassers, ensuring they are motivated, trained, and equipped to meet campaign goals
• Develop comprehensive canvassing strategies that maximize community outreach and engagement effectiveness
• Oversee face-to-face communication efforts to ensure clear messaging and positive interactions with community members
• Monitor team performance through regular evaluations and provide coaching to enhance skills in negotiation, conversational engagement, and customer service
• Utilize mobile devices and other technology tools to track progress, gather data, and report on campaign outcomes
• Foster community relationships by engaging with local organizations, attending community events, and promoting our mission through door-to-door efforts

Requirements

• Proven supervising experience with the ability to lead diverse teams in outdoor settings
• Strong background in marketing, sales, or field sales experience with a focus on canvassing or door-to-door campaigns
• Excellent face-to-face communication skills combined with active listening abilities
• Experience in fundraising or community engagement initiatives that require persuasive negotiation skills
• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods while walking or standing in various weather conditions
• Skilled in using mobile devices for data collection, communication, and reporting purposes
• Demonstrated ability to manage telemarketing efforts or similar outreach campaigns effectively
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on conversational engagement and customer service excellence
