Job Summary

Own parish communications by shaping a cohesive message across the bulletin, website, social channels, and email while coordinating PR and events to move engagement.

  • Content ownership and channel consistency: Develop and curate engaging content for social platforms and ensure cohesive parish messaging.
  • Lifecycle communications: Produce the weekly bulletin, maintain the website, and manage email campaigns to drive engagement.
  • Event and campaigns support: Assist in PR, capital campaigns, annual giving, and events, with occasional evening/weekend hours.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing and maintaining communication for the parish.
  • Coordinates all communications to enhance flow and understanding of the message. Maintains consistency of message to provide cohesiveness and congruency of all parish correspondence. Develop and curate engaging content for social media platforms.
  • Will assist in public relations, capital campaigns, annual giving drive. Will assist in some event coordinating and other duties as needed. Some evening and weekend hours may be required.
  • Produce a weekly bulletin
  • Develop and maintain website
  • Send emails using Constant Contact
  • Post to Facebook, Instagram, X, You Tube

Requirements

  • Proficient with Canva, all Microsoft applications, and all Social Media platforms.
