Job Description
Responsibilities
- Plan, shoot, and edit video for product demos, field operations, government submissions, recruiting, social content, and more
- Capture autonomous systems in action across maritime, aerial, and ground environments
- Operate in real-world conditions including open water, field tests, and industrial settings
- Lead on-site production: cast, camera, audio, lighting, and shoot direction
- Work with and direct external production partners to scale output while maintaining quality
- Operate drones for aerial capture (obtain FAA Part 107 certification if not already licensed)
- Write scripts, develop shot lists, and structure clear video narratives
- Translate technical work into understandable visual stories
- Build and maintain a structured visual asset library
- Deliver finished content for web, press, social media, sales, recruiting, and investor use
Requirements
- FAA Part 107 certification for aerial drones (or ability to obtain)
- Local to San Diego
- Experience planning, shooting, and editing video content
- Proficiency with Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
- Ability to operate in real-world conditions including open water, field tests, and industrial settings
Preferred
- Videographers with documentary, journalism, or field production backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply
