Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Plan, create, schedule, implement and curate strategic social media and digital campaigns for specific marketing campaigns.
  • Ability to effectively utilize, coordinate and manage social media management systems such as or like Hootsuite, Buffer or Shoutlet is preferred.
  • Serve as videographer and photographer to generate real-time content for social media and digital placements with events and promotions.
  • Interact and respond directly to guests on social media as a front-line and collaborative guest services ambassador, on-site resource, and casino representative.
  • Write copies for social media posts, digital advertising copy, website content, email communications and other mediums for different venues, targeting specific demographics and behavioral traits through conversational tone and style.
  • Maintain digital reputation and brand management, resolve inquiries and reply to reviews and posts on social media and digital platforms such as Facebook, Yelp, Google and website forms.
  • Monitor digital presence for competitors and benchmark organizations, keeping pace with trends, relevant content and market evaluations.
  • Ensures social media programs and web content enhance the SEO efforts.
  • Maintain approved brand standards across all mediums.
  • Maintain current working knowledge of social media and digital platforms, tools, practices, trends and capabilities, including but not limited to, WordPress, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+, LinkedIn and YouTube.

Requirements

  • Preference is given to qualified Santa Ana Tribal Members.
  • Associate’s degree or its equivalent and three to five years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Bachelor degree preferred, in Marketing, Advertising, PR, Communications or related field.
  • Excellent computer skills and knowledge, with an emphasis in social media platforms and Microsoft Office, including: Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Photoshop.
  • Solid ability to effectively utilize and navigate digital and social media tools and references.
  • Ability to prioritize assignments, execute tasks with total accuracy and attention to detail, and excellent communication and organization skills.
  • A smartphone capable of running company applications and communication systems is required. If a smartphone is not provided by the company, a candidate or employee may be provided a smartphone of the company’s choice, through a payroll deduction program.
  • All employees are required to proficiently use a smartphone for company applications, email, and text.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Pueblo of Santa Ana Gaming and Regulatory Commission key gaming license.
  • Maintains a strict level of confidentiality regarding company information.
