Digital Marketing Director

Salary commensurate with experience $92-116K
We’re the Armed Services YMCA—165 years strong, mission-driven, and not interested in boring marketing.
We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Director (if you’ve got the scars and the wins to prove it) who knows how to make people stop scrolling and start caring.
About You

• You’re equal parts strategist and scrappy executor
• You don’t just follow trends—you’re usually early to them (yes, we mean AI too)
• You’ve tested, failed, optimized, and scaled—and have the metrics to show it
• You can turn a mission into a movement (and know the difference)
• You think in hooks, headlines, and conversion paths—not just campaigns
• You’re as comfortable in data dashboards as you are in creative brainstorms

• You’ve built something from scratch and made it matter
• You understand how to balance heart + performance (this is nonprofit, but we play to win)
• You can translate TikTok, LinkedIn, and AI strategy to non-marketers clearly
  

What You’ll Do

• Lead and execute digital marketing strategy across social, email, web, and paid channels
• Develop and optimize campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and conversion
• Leverage AI and emerging tools to increase efficiency, creativity, and performance
• Analyze performance metrics and continuously refine campaigns based on data insights
• Collaborate cross-functionally with fundraising, programs, and leadership teams
• Manage external partners and/or internal resources as needed
  

Basic Qualifications (HR-Required)

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field AND
• 8+ years of progressive experience in digital marketing, growth marketing, or related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience
• Demonstrated experience managing and optimizing digital campaigns across multiple channels (e.g., social media, email, paid media, SEO/SEM)
• Experience using marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM platforms, marketing automation tools) to inform decision-making
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI-driven marketing tools and platforms
• Experience in nonprofit, mission-driven, or purpose-led organizations
• Familiarity with fundraising or donor acquisition/engagement strategies
• Experience managing agencies or cross-functional teams
