Digital Marketing and Communications Specialist

Responsibilities

• - Develops and execute social media strategies.
• - Maintains a social media and website content calendar.
• - Attends events to conduct real-time social media promotion.
• - Researches trends and innovations in digital marketing.
• - Researches and develops brand-specific and strategic content for targeted distribution over the Office of the President social media channels
• - Analyze social media and web analytics and generate performance reports.
• - Engages with marketing and communications representatives across ASU academic and business units to source content.
• - Contributes to the development and execution of social media advertising strategies.
• - Maintains and adheres to the ASU Office of the President brand voice and tone.
• - Assists with capturing video/audio/photographic content as needed (personally or w/ a vendor).

Requirements

• - Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience appropriate to the area of assignment/field; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or training from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

Preferred

• - Evidence of effective communication skills
• - Experience in developing effective social media campaigns.
• - Experience in developing email marketing campaigns.
• - Experience in using Google Analytics, Salesforce, Salesforce Marketing Cloud/ Marketing Cloud Account Engagement, Exact Target, Hootsuite, and Social Media Studio or related analytical tools.
• - Demonstrated knowledge of managing paid digital and social campaigns.
• - Experience structuring, managing, and tracking Salesforce Marketing Cloud/ Marketing Cloud Account Engagement email campaigns, analytics, and subscribers.
• - Experience working in a higher education and/or executive environment a plus.
