Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Play a key role in Implementing our video content strategy based upon extensive horse racing knowledge and with an objective of making us the Home of Horse Racing for Core Player group
  • Act as the Field Producer at major horse racing events, overseeing all aspects of on-site content creation and production.
  • Act as the point person for all content and production needs while on location. Troubleshoot on-site challenges, from logistics to content planning and technical issues.
  • Coordinate and manage filming schedules, interviews, and on-location shoots, ensuring quality footage and adherence to tight deadlines.
  • Work collaboratively with editorial teams, video editors, camera crews, and social media managers to develop and execute content strategies.
  • Participate in strategy meetings, bringing creative ideas for improving the quality, reach, and engagement of horse racing coverage.
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders in the industry; Jockeys, Owners, Racetrack Management Teams, that allows you to create content that is unique and that improves the wagering experience for our player base
  • Create video content across several campaign types from lives shows, interviews, on track activity, product promotion or wagering insights to grow the business.
  • Provide in depth wagering information, beyond the details that can be found in the past performances, to the Player in a clear and concise manner
  • Provide guest analysis on a wide array of platforms such as live social media shows, podcasts & radio shows as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred.
  • 2–3 years in a video content, digital media, or content strategy role.
  • Proven track record producing or overseeing short- and long-form video.
  • Proficiency with video platforms: YouTube, Instagram Reels, TikTok, X.
  • Familiarity with production tools (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or equivalent)
  • Experience briefing videographers, editors, and motion graphics artists.
  • Previous knowledge and experience in horse racing.
  • Understanding of the racing calendar, major fixtures, and key stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with racing terminology, form, betting markets, and culture.
  • Existing relationships within the racing industry an advantage.
