Job Summary

Own the content engine for Visit Casper, shaping the voice and stories across blogs, itineraries, website copy, and social with real time signals driving engagement.

  • Content Strategy & Editorial Calendar: plan and execute aligned with brand, goals, and audiences.
  • Social & Partnerships: manage social strategy, creator/photographer collaboration, and timely posts across platforms.
  • Performance & Transitions: measure content impact, optimize via insights, and support site/CRM movements.

  • Develop and execute a content strategy that aligns with Visit Casper’s brand, goals, and target audiences.
  • Create and manage an editorial calendar to ensure a steady flow of engaging and relevant content.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to source, develop, and distribute compelling content.
  • Be ready to share in-the-moment insights into what is current in the community, allowing followers to connect personally.
  • Craft engaging blog posts, website content, itineraries, and promotional copy that showcase Casper’s unique and often one-of-a-kind experiences.
  • Proofread and edit content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand voice.
  • Oversee Visit Casper’s social media strategy, including content creation, scheduling, and engagement.
Preferred
  • Basic graphic design, photo and/or video editing skills (Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
  • Photography
  • Videography
  • Knowledge of paid social and digital advertising strategies.
  • Experience working with destination organizations or in the travel industry.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, spelling, punctuation and grammar.
  • Project management tools such as Asana to ensure that deadlines are met, and teammates are supported.
  • Impeccable business practices: fiscal stewardship, professionalism, responsiveness and follow-through.
