Job Description

Responsibilities

  • planning, creating, and managing digital content across Roarke Regenerative’s web and online channels.
  • Oversees content calendars, coordinates content production, and ensures that all materials align with the organization’s mission, brand voice, and campaign objectives.
  • Daily tasks include drafting and editing website copy, managing blog posts and landing pages, updating and optimizing content for search and engagement.
  • collaborating with program and fundraising teams to translate complex environmental initiatives into clear, compelling narratives.
  • monitor content performance, refine strategy based on analytics, and maintain consistent messaging across digital platforms.
  • This position involves cross-functional collaboration, proactive project coordination, and a strong focus on audience growth and community engagement.

Requirements

  • Content Management skills, including experience with content management systems (CMS) and maintaining organized, up-to-date digital assets.
  • Content Strategy skills, with the ability to develop and execute content plans that support organizational goals and audience engagement.
  • Project Management skills to coordinate timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables for multiple concurrent content initiatives.
  • Web Content Writing and Writing skills, with a proven ability to create clear, engaging, and mission-aligned copy for diverse digital formats.
  • Strong editorial judgment, attention to detail, and ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences and channels.
  • Familiarity with basic SEO principles, web analytics tools, and best practices for accessibility and user experience.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage priorities responsibly.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Environmental Studies, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Interest or experience in environmental sustainability, climate action, or nonprofit communications is highly beneficial.
