Job Summary

Own a research driven content pipeline in art and museums, turning scholarly ideas into public facing posts across video, text, and social. Own the story sourcing, audience insight, and lightweight production work that links editorial with potential partners.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research related to artists, artworks, museums, exhibitions, and related topics
  • Help develop and organize content ideas for short-form video, written content, and social media
  • Track relevant stories and trends in the museum and art world
  • Support content production through editing, caption writing, image sourcing, and audience engagement research
  • Assist with partnership outreach as opportunities arise

Requirements

  • Strong interest in art history, museums, cultural institutions, or digital humanities
  • Excellent written communication and research skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable with deadlines
  • Familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, and Substack is a must
  • Comfortable with Canva, CapCut, and Google Workspace

Preferred

  • Preference will be given to candidates based in the New York City area
