Job Summary

Own the salon content engine from capture to distribution, shaping brand-consistent short-form videos for Instagram and TikTok, while planning weekly calendars and staying on-trend.

  • Content Production: Capture braiding and client transformations and produce engaging short-form videos.
  • Content Ops: Edit, schedule, and maintain weekly calendars aligned with brand voice.
  • Social Strategy: Research trends and assist with campaigns to drive salon visibility.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Capture photos and videos of braiding services, salon activities, staff, and client transformations
  • Create engaging Instagram Reels, TikTok videos, Stories, and posts
  • Edit content and prepare weekly content schedules
  • Develop creative content ideas aligned with our brand
  • Stay current with social media trends and apply them appropriately
  • Assist with content planning and campaign execution
  • Ensure content reflects the salon’s professional image and values
  • Approximately 3–6 hours on-site, 2 days per week
  • Additional flexible time for editing and content preparation
  • Part-time contract position
