1. POSITION SUMMARY

1. PRINCIPAL DUTIES
   1. Video Editing

• Assist with editing video content under the direction of the Digital Content Producer, including assembling rough cuts, trimming interview footage, and preparing short-form social cuts. 
• Sync and organize audio, apply basic color and audio correction, and export deliverables to spec.
• Pull and place b-roll, lower thirds, and graphic elements following provided templates and brand standards.
• Create simple motion graphics.

1. Digital Asset Management

• Ingest, label, and organize raw footage, audio, photography, and graphic files.

• Maintain consistent file naming, folder structure, and backup practices. 
• Help track and catalogue both in-house and externally produced media assets within the Image Relay DAM. 

1. Video Setup & Support
   • Assist with setting up and breaking down lighting, audio, and camera equipment for interviews, events, and in-office shoots.
   • Help maintain, charge, and inventory media equipment before and after shoots. 
   • Assist with the permissions/release process for shoot participants

1.  QUALIFICATIONS

1. Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Communications, Film/Video, Multimedia, or a related field.
2. Working knowledge of a non-linear editing application (Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent).
3. Familiarity with basic camera, lighting, and audio equipment.
4. Strong organizational habits and attention to detail in file management.
5. Reliable, collaborative, and able to follow direction while taking initiative on assigned tasks.
6. Reel or portfolio of student/personal work preferred.
