Responsibilities

• What You’ll Be Doing This is not a passive role. You will be actively contributing to marketing strategy, execution, and revenue growth.
• Digital Marketing & SEO
• Write and publish blogs using SEO best practices (SEMrush, keyword research, on-page optimization)
• Support website copywriting and updates
• Assist with Google Ads and digital campaign execution
• Assist with content creation through video and photography
• Email & SMS Marketing
• Build and deploy email newsletters (Mailchimp, Constant Contact, Shopify)
• Launch and manage SMS campaigns
• E-commerce & Retail Growth (Jungle Jane’s Plant Shop)

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience with branding, rebranding, logo creation, and building full brand kits.
• Illustration skills and ability to create custom graphics beyond basic templates.
• Strong understanding of layout, typography, and visual hierarchy.
• Proficiency with and ownership of professional design software such as Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage your own time effectively.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, creative, and eager to produce high quality work.
• A strong portfolio that showcases branding and illustration work.
• Experience working within agency or multi-client environments.
• Ability to create graphics for digital platforms including social media, websites, and advertising.

Preferred

• E-commerce management (Shopify or similar)
• Basic understanding of paid ads (Google, META, YouTube)
• Experience analyzing marketing data and performance metrics
• Familiarity with Square POS or retail systems
