Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Assist with marketing campaigns, promotional materials, digital displays, and fundraising communications.
  • Create and manage content for the YMCA's social media platforms related to fundraising, events, and philanthropy.
  • Meet with department leaders to support marketing and event promotion.
  • Assist with planning and coordinating fundraising events and community outreach activities.
  • Prepare event reports, maintain records, and provide administrative support as needed.
  • Research, write, and track grant applications and reporting deadlines.
  • Support compliance and administration of the YMCA's CACFP and SFSP food programs.
  • Process monthly food program documentation to ensure accurate and timely state reimbursements.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with community partners, schools, and local organizations.
  • Represent the YMCA professionally while demonstrating our core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility.

Requirements

  • FBI Fingerprint (Department of Human Services), Pennsylvania State Police PATCH, Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance, and Mandated Reporter certification required upon hire.
  • Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED and Great American Academy certifications must be completed within 90 days of hire.
  • Ability to occasionally bend, stoop, and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to learn and follow CACFP and SFSP regulations.

Preferred

  • Experience in marketing, communications, public relations, fundraising, event planning, grant writing, or administrative support.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent grammar and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to learn new software systems.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with staff and community partners.
  • Ability to learn and follow CACFP and SFSP regulations.
